Perricone Family

The most important work Pretend City does is teach kids about real life experiences such as going to work, shopping at a market, going to the car service center and working in the medical field. Real everyday “adult” activities to help children understand the “real world” 

After touring Pretend City, I learned what a great creative establishment it is and thought this is exactly what children need.  I felt compelled to help in any way I can.  We donate to fundraising activities and have volunteered at events.    

 What moved me the most was watching kids get excited shopping at Trader Joes, just like their parents, working on a car, acting on stage and so on. Kids like to act like grown-ups and Pretend City allows the kids to do so in a safe, nurturing and educational environment. 

I wish Pretend City existed when my kids were young.  It is such a great interactive environment, educational and fun!
