Donor Spotlight >>
As a parent of three children, who are now young adults, I know the importance of early childhood development. The interactive play that Pretend City offers not only provides a place for creativity to thrive, but allows young children to develop their independent outside the comforts of home. We gave our first gift a few years ago simply because we value Pretend City.
As a former educator, I know kids need to learn how to cooperate with others before they are introduced to a formal classroom environment. Pretend City creates a safe place for children to interact with other children while exploring their creative, social, and emotional sides. I especially love the new exhibit that focuses on the mind, body, and spirit. It’s never too early to introduce kids to mindfulness and its importance as they grow older.
As a community donor, I know the importance of giving. We know this past year many small businesses and nonprofits took a financial hit. NOW is the time to financially support these organizations that make our communities better places to live and raise our families. We must support parents, grandparents and educators who spend precious time and energy interacting with their children and their community. It’s our privilege to donate to Pretend City, a meaningful place for this interaction to thrive!
Healthy Kids, Healthy Museum
To protect the health of Pretend City Children’s Museum community, we ask families to please only come play with us on days that everyone is feeling well.
