Way to Play Day, A Package of Learning!

Friday, September 10th | 10 AM – 12 NOON | Way to Play Days occur on the 2nd Friday of every month
Purpose Behind the Play: Whole body development, communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving, social emotion expression.
Join us for this month’s Way to Play Day as we focus on language and communication skills! Play your way through the museum and let our stage staff show you how play can truly be educational. We will be offering FREE ASQ screenings today as well!
Good to Go From Head to Toe, Pretend City’s child development initiative, together with our play partners, are here to assist you with:
- ASQ Developmental Check-ups from (10 AM to 12 NOON): Assess speech, motor, cognitive and social areas (first come, first served; limited spaces available). This month’s ASQ Screening performed by Pretend City’s Good to Go Team.
Specifically for: Infants (birth -12 months), Young Toddlers (12-24 months), Toddlers (2-4 years), Preschoolers (4-5 years); Kindergarteners (5-6 years); and Grown-ups.
Play Partner: Good to Go from Head to Toe
Grown-up Tip: Ask your child to bring you specific items. Show your child unfamiliar items and teach the name of these items. This will strengthen your child’s vocabulary which will later help your little one with reading comprehension.

Fee: Check-ups and activities are included with museum admission!
