Shark Week July 12-16

Shark week eek! We’ll explore these magnificent ocean creatures during Shark Week with inspired activities, stories, and songs to engage young oceanographers!
Touch Tank (11AM – 12:30PM): Bolsa Chica Conservatory will be bringing their mobile touch tank to our space to allow children to touch and feel real life sea animals!
Math/Science (2:30PM): Building a Shark- Come join us as we work together to build a 3D shark puzzle and learn about the different body parts a shark has both inside and out!
Purpose Behind Play: Sensory play, artistic expression, fine motor practice.
Art Studio: Great White Shark, make a shark habitat, paint a fish on our canvas
Sensational Storytime: (11AM & 2:30PM) If Sharks Disappeared by: Lily Williams> What would happen to our oceans and our world if sharks were to disappear?
Music & Movement: (before or after story time): Slippery Fish
