Pi Day!

Join us at Pretend City for a slice of fun as we celebrate Pi day! Come try a delicious slice of pie and see how small we can cut it until there’s nothing left. Don’t miss out on this exciting and educational celebration!
Story Time (TIMES 11am & 2:30pm)
All For Pie and Pie For All, by David Martin
Purpose: A great story to talk about sharing and also recipes and the process of cooking.
Math/Science (directly following story time):
Try a slice of pie and see how small we can cut it until there’s nothing left.
Purpose: The children will have an opportunity to discuss fractions, and also to talk about the descriptive attributes of the taste of different pies.
