Sunday, December 11 | 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM Join us for our next Baby Steps event, packed with fun winter-themed activities! Your child will have the opportunity to play, socialize, explore… and even meet Santa! Art (all day):
- Explore a sensory bin full of snow and wild animals
- Painting with cotton balls
Purpose of the Play: Fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, cause and effect Music & Movement:
- Join us in Orange Plaza for classic holiday songs and a jingle bell circle!
Purpose of the Play: Rhythm and repetition, expressive and receptive language skills, fine motor skills, social skills Santa Meet & Greet
- Santa will be joining us for this special morning together! You are welcome to stand in line with your little to take a photo 😊
Grown-up Tip: Around this time of year, stores begin to over-pack their aisles with all the new gizmos, gadgets, and toys. It can provide a never-ending, overwhelming display with too many choices. It’s important to remember that the bulk of these technological toys can be overstimulating for babies; oftentimes, they provide too many features, sounds, and colors. Simpler, developmental toys, such as wooden toys and blocks, can provide a better experience for both baby and parent.
