World Environment Day

June 5

It’s World Environment Day and we’re learning all about how pollutants affect the environment and how to protect it! At 11am and 2:30pm, join us for a demonstration using a watershed model of Pretend City demonstrating how pollutants enter the watershed and drain to the ocean.

About the Play Partner: The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves, and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network. As one of seventy-seven chapters, the North Orange County chapter primarily educates people on the harms of single-use plastics, the watershed, and gyres with the impacts to marine life and how that can work its way into us.
