White Cane Safety Day
October 16, 2024

Embrace White Cane Safety Day! White Cane Safety Day celebrates the independence and ability of people who are visually impaired. Pretend City helps children learn about the challenges that children with visual impairments experience.
Beyond Blindness will provide free vision screenings and provide resources for families.
Blind Fold obstacle course (9:30a-12:30p): In this experience, children will have the opportunity to engage in an obstacle course without their sense of sight. They will rely on another person to give them verbal cues to get through the course! This will happen with our friends from Beyond Blindness.
Story Time (TIMES 2:30pm)
