Sandy Feet Sibling Workshop 5:30-6:30 pm
Parent Support Group: Reading with Your Autistic Child: Tips for 10-Second Attention Spans
Reading can present challenges for children who are autistic or ADHD due to sensory support requirements, difficulties with sustaining attention, emotional impulsivity, and other needs. As a result, many parents find it difficult to establish a reading connection with their child. This workshop will explore how you can support your neurodiverse child in reading books by learning directly from the founder of Braloooo, who is also a mother to a 5-year-old autistic child.
