FALL into the Season with Pretend City’s Fall Festival!

Pretend City Children’s Museum is getting busy this fall with our Fall Festival! Throughout the months of October and November we are hosting fun fall-themed events and activities for all our families. Everyday, a new fall-themed art project will be demonstrated in our art studio for all your little ones to make and decorate your house with. So get your calendars ready and read through this go-to guide for our exciting Fall Festival!

Sept. 22nd, Fri.: It’s the beginning of Fall! Our Fall Festival Fun Day is filled with fall themed activities, games, and projects! Nestle in for a day of fall exploration with activities from gourd art projects, to leaf huntings, to book readings, to pumpkin exploring and leaf creation projects. Your family will learn about everything Fall, while gaining hands on experience in games and projects all day long!

Oct. 22nd-28th: Start digging up your Halloween Costumes for Costume Week! Who will you be this Halloween? Get creative and come dressed up to Pretend City where you will receive 25% off your second admission with a costume all week long!

Oct. 27th, Fri.: Monsters are nothing to be scared of! Don’t believe me? Come into Pretend City on Oct. 27th for Frankenstein Friday where we will host fun monster-themed activities for you and your little ones. The making of Frakenprints, inflating of Frankenstein balloons, a monster dance party, and a monster-themed math class are just a few of the many fun activities planned for this monstrous day!

Oct. 30th, Mon.: Are you prepared for the candy overload and sugar rushes throughout the Halloween season? With all the sweets and treats that your kids will be getting, Pretend City is here to help with our Healthy Halloween from 11am-12pm on Oct. 30th. Serving Kids Hope is coming in to give you health tips and tricks to tackle this sweet holiday for you and your family!

Oct. 31st, Tues.: Happy Halloween! Celebrate the day with Pretend City as we host our annual Trick-or-Treat Through the City. Dress up, bring a bag, and walk around each part of the city to get your trick-or-treat goodies! Members only time starts at 9:30am, while regular admission begins at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm.

Nov. 22nd, Wed.: What are you especially thankful for this Thanksgiving? Come into Pretend City to share and participate in turkey activities all day long with our Thanksgiving Celebration! Art activities start at 11am followed by dancing, story time, and games until 4pm.

Nov. 24th, Fri.: Friends come and go, but family is forever! Spend time with your family away from the Black Friday madness at Pretend City for our Family Friday! The turkey theme continues with fun games, stories and art projects the whole family can participate in! Activities begin at 11am until the museum closes at 4pm.

Nov. 28th, Tues.: It’s the holiday season and you’re constantly in the giving mood! Pretend City can help you with all your charitable cravings at our Giving Tuesday! All of our programming that day will be focused on where and how you and your family can give back to the community. Life lessons on saving, spending, and donating will be given all day from 11am until 3:30pm, followed by story time until 4pm.
