World Ocean’s Weekend

Join us for a celebration of the World’s Oceans! Pretend City invites you to experience an exciting weekend of exploration and discovery with our World Ocean’s Weekend event.
Friday, June 9th, 2023: Touch Tank (TIMES: 10:30 am-12 pm): Bolsa Chica Conservatory will be bringing their mobile touch tank to our space to allow children to touch and feel real life sea animals!
Play Partner: Established in 1990 by a coalition of government, community, business and environmental leaders, the Bolsa Chica Conservancy, a private, not-for-profit organization, provides services that inspire and connect all generations through community involvement and leadership in hands-on restoration and education in wetland science, watersheds, coastal ecology and environmental sustainability
Story time: If Sharks Disappeared by: Lily Williams
Art: During this week, children will foster a strong curiosity for our world’s oceans. They will learn to take care of our oceans and will also learn about 3D modeling, along with art.
