Our immersive summer art exhibit invites families to paint, sculpt, build, and explore without limits. This summer, art isn’t something you look at—it’s something to experience together. Every visit brings something new, where creativity grows through art, movement, and play.

Is the summer exhibit included with admission?
Yes. The exhibit is included with regular museum admission.
Will there be special programming?
Yes. Additional programming and special activities will be announced soon.
What ages is this exhibit best for?
The exhibit is designed for children ages 2–9 and their families.
Do children need art experience to participate?
No. This is an open-ended, play-based experience where children can explore creativity at their own pace.
Will it be messy?
Yes. This exhibit encourages hands-on creativity, so we recommend dressing children in clothes that can get messy.
Are you open on Mondays?
No. Pretend City is closed on Mondays, except for Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Why does the exhibit close early?
The exhibit closes at 3:00 pm to allow time for cleaning and resetting the space. The museum remains open until 4:00 pm.
