Grown-up Tip: Between 18 months – 3 years, children develop the ability to make choices and assert their independence. Adults often label a toddler’s response as a “tantrum,” but often they’re not obstinate, they’re simply overwhelmed by this new ability to choose – something their brain couldn’t do before. One helpful tactic is to minimize choices – 2 options of shoes, 2 toys to choose from, 2 places you could visit. You can even apply this to their play space in order to facilitate simpler play!
RSVP: Not required
Fee: Check-ups and activities are included with museum admission
