Meet the Presenters:
Lauren Geiger, M.A. Ed. Has been in the field of early childhood education working with children and families in diverse communities throughout California for about 12 years. She has her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Education with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education. Throughout her career she has supported children and families, aspiring educators, spoken at multiple conferences educating the public and has worked to uplift high quality early education. Her expertise are outdoor education, play and mentorship!
Jason Aflague
Jason Aflague has worked at Pretend City for over a year, working on the Museum floor to enrich the lives of young children with pretend play. He received his B.A. in Parks and Recreation from Long Beach State and has worked in city parks, youth sports, and outdoor education over seven years.
Kaveen Panditha
Kaveen Panditha currently works as a floor lead at Pretend City Children’s Museum. He is working towards his Bachelor’s in Science for Civil Engineering. Working at Pretend City has taught him valuable information about childhood development, and would like to pursue a teaching degree.
