Start Smart: Pretend City’s Virtual FUNdraising Event

Extraordinary times call for extraordinary thinking! Pretend City Children’s Museum is excited to announce its annual luncheon will be online! This annual event is a celebration of the impact Pretend City makes on our youngest children’s healthy development and wellbeing.

– About the Event – Join us for our first ever virtual FUNdraiser Start Smart: Think Outside the Lunch(eon) Box on Friday, October 23! Today, Early Development Index data shows that 47% of Orange County’s children are not developmentally prepared for kindergarten, regardless of income. We are especially concerned about developmental delays resulting from the pandemic and lack of quality childcare. In this virtual program, you’ll learn how Pretend City is addressing these issues, resources that are available through the Pretend City, and relevant topics for families during these ever-changing times.

– Registration for the Virtual Event is Free – We ask that you consider donating what you would typically spend at a fundraising event.
