Solar Event/Spring Equinox

Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring! Spring your way over to Pretend City and celebrate Spring Equinox with us!
Art (ALL DAY):
Exploration No. 1> Explore how body heat can make art by playing with color-changing paper!
Exploration No. 2> In Japan, there is a tradition of decorating eggs with washi paper to create beautiful gifts! Try it with us using tissue paper, glue, and fake eggs!
Exploration No. 3 (Sensory Table)> Spring is a perfect time to plant some seeds! Explore soil and egg cartons, and then take home a flower seed that will grow with the season!
Story Time (Times: 11 am & 2:30 pm):
Synopsis: This is a rhyming book about spring. It follows the Robbin, the rabbit, the deer, the duck, etc. And they explain what is to come with our spring season!
Math/Science (directly following story time):
Planting Party: Children will have the opportunity to plant their own flowers to take home!
