Calling all aspiring Olympians to join us for Pretend City’s Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony! This exciting event only happens every four years, so you won’t want to miss out! Take this opportunity to give your little one a better understanding of the history and significance of the Olympics.
Smart Art (on-going):
- Olympic Torch > Come to the art studio and make your own Olympic torch using paper, glue and tissue paper!
- Seasonally Sensory > In honor of the winter Olympics, we will explore fake snow and people from around the world in the sensory table!
Sensational Story Time in Orange Plaza (11 AM & 2:30 PM): Snowman Paul at the Winter Olympics > Snowman Paul wants to win a gold medal at the Winter Games! He trains hard and has an amazing Olympic debut. But wait! Is he following all the rules in his epic quest for Olympic glory? This book teaches children the valuable lessons of hard work, fair competition and telling the truth.
Grown-up Tip: Fuel up your little Olympians with a nutritious snack before their next physical outing or adventure. This is a great opportunity to talk about healthy eating and building strong bodies.
