Parent Support Group: Increase Joint Attention & Communication
Joint attention refers to the capability of engaging with others to share experiences and interests related to objects and events. It plays a vital role in various aspects of language development, such as understanding, expressing, and acquiring new words. Join us to discover effective ways to enhance your neurodiverse child’s communication skills by promoting joint attention!
The founder of Braloooo, Monal, will be here to share how she created success with her non-speaking autistic son by teaching him to communicate and effectively eradicate meltdowns in less than 2 years. She will be joined by a local Speech Language Pathologist who has supported hundreds of non-verbal autistic children over the past 25 years including those with the dual diagnosis such as autism and apraxia.
