National Hispanic Heritage Month traditionally honors the cultures and contributions of both Hispanic and Latino Americans as we celebrate heritage rooted in all Latin American countries Join us as our local partners come to share about their culture through stories, art, dance, and music.
Purpose Behind Play: Cultural exposure, music and movement, social and emotional understanding, strengthening fine motor skills, promoting open-ended art

- Sound and Shakers: Create your own shaker with a variety of materials to take home!
- Frida Kahlo-inspired crowns: Use Frida Kahlo as an inspiration and create your own flower crown!
Grown-up Tip: Relate your traditions to those of other cultures so your child can make connections and see the similarities within each culture!
