Mother’s Day Celebration

Moms make everything better! Today we will be celebrating all moms and grandmothers for all the love, joy, and happiness they bring to our lives. Spend the day with us for some special mommy bonding as we enjoy arts and activities. Happy Mother’s Day from our Pretend City family!
Art (all day):
Exploration No. 1> Card making
Exploration No. 2> Paint
Exploration No. 3 (Sensory Table)> Discover!
Purpose: Through these activities, children will be able to engage their imagination and develop their social-emotional connections with those around them. They will develop fine motor skills, engage in sensory play, and learn about cause and effect through paint and coloring.
Music & Movement (TIMES: 11 am & 2:30 pm):
Mommy and Me Yoga: Practice yoga with your baby, toddler, or young child in this engaging and welcoming Mommy and Me class. Get ready to move, stretch, and breathe while creating a deeper bond with your child through the practice of yoga.
Purpose: Mommy and Me yoga provides gentle stimulation and an opportunity to bond with your little one, yoga can improve sleep patterns, support children’s sense of self, calms anxiousness, support emotional regulation, self-esteem, enhances concentration and memory, strength and ability.
