Age: Recommended for children ages 4+ but we won’t turn anyone away.

 Workshop No. 1- Learning to Read Social Cues 

TIME: 10:30 am 

Synopsis: Join the Woo Crew for a fun workshop on how to become a social cues detective! Social cues are secret messages that people send with their body language, facial expressions, and tone of voice – to signal how they’re feeling. Tyler, Kalon, and Khloe will walk you through a series of interactive exercises to learn and practice this important life skill. 

This is a great opportunity for kids and parents to strengthen their social connections and develop empathy, communication skills, and school readiness. Families will receive a nifty tool created by the Woo Crew to practice detective skills at home. 

 Workshop No. 2- Caring and Soothing: Basic Physical and Emotional First Aid 

TIME: 11:30 am 

Synopsis: Join the Woo Crew for a super useful workshop on how to care for yourself (physically and emotionally) when you get a boo-boo! Khloe, Kalon, and Tyler will walk you through the basics of first aid:  what to do when you get a nosebleed, a bee sting, a sprain…and equally important, what you can do to take care of your feelings! You will also put together a personal first-aid kit during this workshop that you can keep for future use.

There aren’t a lot of educational and fun kid-friendly resources, so we decided to create our own.
