Rosie the Rhino and the Great Escape
About the play partner: Gwendolyn ( “Gwen”) Poindexter is a retired attorney who lives with her husband in a hillside community in Los Angeles, California. Gwen was inspired to write her first children’s book , Zoe the Short-Necked Giraffe, by the stories she and her husband would tell their two (then) young sons at dinnertime. After friends and family inquired of her about what she would write next, Gwen decided to write a second story, centered around Rosie the rhino from the Zoe book, to continue sharing the theme of love and the value of friendship.
