Fire Prevention Week
October 12, 2022 - October 16, 2022
Art: Discover more about firetrucks and drive them through paint to save the day! Explore stickers and decorate a firefighter hat that you can take home and wear during our grand exit parade! Time to put out fires! Use spray bottles to put out shaving cream fires and protect Pretend City!
Purpose: These activities will allow children to explore “fire” and take healthy risks. They will also teach children about cause and effect, strengthen their hand muscles, develop their sense of curiosity, and encourage them to ask questions about fire and fire safety.
October 12th:
Story Time (TIMES 11am and 2:30PM): No Dragons for Tea: Fire Safety for Kids (and Dragons) by: Jean E. Pendziwol

Math/Science (TIMES 2-4pm):
Fire engine visit: The fire fighters from OC Fire will bring a real fire truck for our guests to touch, feel and explore!
