Celebrate Earth Day as we gather and take a moment to appreciate the caretaking of our planet, our home. Join us for recycling activities, Earth science, and art!
Purpose Behind the Play: Concept development through curiosity, developing healthy habits, Language development,
Smart Art (on-going):
- Recycled City> We need your creativity and insight to give household items a second life in the Art Studio today!
Sensational Story Time in Orange Plaza (11 AM & 2:30 PM):
- Don’t Throw That Away!> Do you see that old jar? Don’t throw that away! You can turn it into…a new vase! Follow an eco-conscious superhero as he teaches us how to recycle and reuse common household items!
Grown-up Tip: Plant a vegetable garden with your child! If you don’t have a yard, large pots and window boxes will work perfectly. Let your child choose new types of fruits and vegetables to try each year. The garden will provide food and teach your child how to live life sustainably.
