Bawk! Bawk! its Dance Like a Chicken Day at Pretend City!
Art (all day):
Exploration No. 1> CHICKENS!
Exploration No. 2> Paint!
Exploration No. 3 (Sensory Table)> Discover!
Purpose: Our chicks are an important part of our Pretend City family, and these activities will encourage our youngest guests to think about animal care, along with expanding their creativity. They will learn about spatial awareness, cause and effect, empathy, and will also have an opportunity to learn more about animals.
Story Time (TIMES: 11am & 2:30pm) Chickens Aren’t the Only Ones by: Ruth Heller
Music & Movement (directly following story time): Join us for a dance party in the farm!
Synopsis: supports whole body development, support empathy and social/emotional connection, encourages self-expression and safety within one’s self.
