Celebrate Freedom and Culture this Juneteenth, a historic day marking freedom and resilience. Children will learn about the significance of Juneteenth through storytelling, and music and movement.

Jar of Sunshine is an organization dedicated to creating accessibility to the arts, literacy and wellness.
Deborah Jane is a writer and producer who helps children discover the joy of storytelling through writing, rhythm, and creative expression. As the founder of House of Deborah Jane Studios and the facilitator of UFirst Artist’s, she brings her professional experience in writing and producing stories for stage, film, and television into playful learning spaces where young voices are celebrated.
UFirst Artist is a creative learning company that uses writing, music, movement, and storytelling to help children express themselves with confidence and care for others. Through playful, age-appropriate arts experiences, UFirst Artist nurtures creativity, community, and young voices in spaces where every child is seen, valued, and encouraged to share their story.
