Happy Holi Friends! Holi is celebrated in India, and it is the festival of colors!
Art (ALL DAY):
Exploration No. 1> Tear up brightly colored tissue paper and glue it to our mural to help us create a beautiful image!
Exploration No. 2 (Sensory Table)> Get your hands colorful and throw gulal at large canvases in our sensory area!
Story Time (TIMES: 11 am & 2:30 pm) Festival of Colors by: Kabir Sehgal & Surishtha Sehgal
Synopsis: Spring is here, and it’s almost time for Holi, the Indian Festival of Colors. Siblings Mintoo and Chintoo are busy gathering flowers to make into colorful powders to toss during the festival. And when at last the big day comes, they gather with their friends, family, and neighbors for a vibrant celebration of fresh starts, friendship, forgiveness, and, of course, fun!

Make your own Holi Powder to take home!
Purpose: Holi is all about coming together and being part of a loving community, and kids will have a chance to do that with these activities. They’ll get to use their gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and they will learn about cause and effect in a fun and colorful way. They will also engage their sense of sight by taking in all the bright colors around them.
