Join us and the Irvine Hindi Temple as we celebrate Diwali! Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, is among us! It is a time to light our inner lamp of knowledge to reflect on the victory of good. Come celebrate with us we create culturally inspired art and learn about the traditions of this special holiday.
Purpose Behind the Play: Social-emotional development, sensory play, fine motor development, and literacy and communication

- Sensational Storytime (11 AM & 2 PM):Come enjoy a story about Diwali and explore real materials that incorporate traditional values to the holiday!
Grown-up Tip: Exposing your child to other cultures and traditions helps them understand and respect differences and similarities among those in your community. Engage with them by participating in the activities and ask them questions about the process, their observations, and if they notice any similarities to their own traditions.
