Caregiver Anti-Bias Training with Pacific Oaks College
March 6 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Unlock the Power of Perspective: An Anti-Bias Workshop for Caregivers
Our brains naturally use bias to make sense of the world—it’s how we process information quickly. But here’s the catch: bias can shrink our understanding of the world into rigid, “either-or” choices, limiting the potential we see in people and situations. As caregivers, we play a pivotal role in shaping how children view the world. Imagine fostering an environment where children see boundless possibilities, embrace diversity, and approach life with curiosity and empathy.
In this interactive workshop, we’ll:
- Unpack the science behind bias and its role in our daily lives.
- Reflect on how our experiences influence the way we see others.
- Discover strategies to help children grow with an open mind, free from limiting stereotypes.
Join us to explore how you can nurture a child’s natural sense of wonder while guiding them toward a more inclusive and unbiased perspective of the world around them. Together, let’s help the next generation see the extraordinary in everyone and everything.
