Join us for this month’s Baby Steps as we focus on language and communication with different hand-based activities!
Purpose Behind the Play: Literacy, communication and language development, social and emotional development, and fine motor skills.
- Art Studio Sessions: Make your way over to the Art Studio as we create handprint keepsakes, sign language sensory bins, and mirror paintings! Working with mirrors helps build your baby’s sense of self awareness and identity. Using our hands to communicate introduces your little one to another form of expression and language!
- Sign Language Demonstration (8:45 AM): Join us as we learn sign language and practice using different symbolic gestures to enhance verbal interactions with your little one! Signing strengthens communication and language skills, increases self-esteem and can reduce frustration for parents and babies alike!
