America Recycles Day
Art: Explore newspapers and find creative ways to reuse them using glue and scissors! By recycling, we can help save the animals of our planet! Put together an animal of your own using toilet paper tubes, paper straws, and glue! Learn to sort through different types of recycling in our sensory bin! Rummage through paper, plastic, and cans, and be sure to place them in the proper bin!
Purpose: Children will be able to discover the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling. They will also learn about cause and effect, practice their scissor skills, experience sorting materials, and learn to recognize patterns.

Synopsis: You can keep that trash and reuse it in all kinds of wonderful ways!
Follow an eco-conscious super hero as he teaches kids how to recycle and reuse common household items! The six large flaps throughout show that ordinary trash is really a treasure. From turning old clothes into fun costumes or an old box into a brand new car, kids will learn that saving the environment is super cool!
Math/Science: Come join us as we use the recycled materials to build and create new objects.
