We’re going on a Acorn Hunt! Stop by Pretend City for story time and a fun science activity.
Sensational Story Time (11:00 AM & 2:30 PM): The Squirrel Manifesto; By Ric and Jean Edelman
Synopsis: A wise old squirrel imparts the knowledge of what it means to care for the world you live in, “Save a little. Spend a little. And always give back”.
Purpose: Introduce the children to the financial concepts of saving, spending, and donating by using acorns as value. Learning how impactful your actions are to the world around you, and that when you give back a little of what you have the place you live in is better for it.
