Learning through Purposeful Play – Buy One Get One FREE Day

It’s time to learn through play! Your child will play their way through the city with activities that highlight social and emotional development.

We will also be offering FREE developmentaldentalvision, and speech screenings from various participating health partners and the Good To Go team!

In addition to FREE screenings, our play partners are focusing on self-awareness and self-regulation. Self-awareness is a skill that helps your child tune in to his feelings, thoughts, and actions. Also, this awareness is more than just being able to recognize these things. It means understanding that how he or she acts on their thoughts and feelings affects themselves and others. Learning this type of skill is important in order for a child to fully understand how their actions affect their peers.

Purpose Behind the Play: Social interaction, self-awareness, self-regulation, concept development, demonstrate curiosity, language development, using conversational sentences.

Time:  10:00am – 3:00 pm; Way to Play Days occur on the 2nd Friday of every month
