Instructors: Kim Nguyen and Mai Trinh

Class Time: 6:30-7:30pm

Class registration is required a minimum of 72 hours in advance

Positive Discipline(PD) is a researched-based discipline model based on Positive Behavior Science, which believes that there is no such thing as a bad child just good or bad behavior. It is a model that aims to equip anyone working with children tools that help get to the root of bad behavior and focus on long-term effective correction. Our PD workshops are experimental and encourages participants to be active in the process of learning how to be kind and firm at the same time.

Instructor Bio: Mai Trinh is an AMI certified Montessori teacher. Kim Nguyen is a primary school teacher.  They are both Positive Discipline Teacher and Parent educators that are committed to building a community where adults are active participants in helping children gain a sense of belonging and significance.

Grown-up Tip: Be consistent with your expectations. Sometimes a child might try to test the limits by arguing with the rules. When this happens, neutralize negotiations by repeating one simple mantra as often as necessary: “I love you too much to argue.” For more Positive Parenting tips visit this LINK.
