Clay Family

As parents of twins, we’ve seen firsthand how much creativity and play matter in a child’s development. When we discovered Pretend City, we knew it was a place where Joey and Jay could thrive. Seeing them light up while exploring the exhibits made it clear that Pretend City was a special space we wanted to support.

Pretend City gives children a chance to explore, dream, and learn in a hands-on environment. For us, it’s not just a museum—it’s a place that builds confidence, ignites curiosity, and teaches children about the world around them. It’s also a space where families can bond and grow together, which is something we cherish.

One unforgettable moment for our family was attending the New Year’s Eve Party. Watching Joey and Jay’s faces light up as the confetti fell from above was pure magic. They danced, clapped, and celebrated with such joy and confidence, fully immersed in the moment. That memory has become a cherished part of our family’s story and continues to inspire us to support this amazing work.

We’re especially excited about supporting the amphitheater renovation. Joey and Jay have had wonderful experiences in the arts, acting on General Hospital, and we want other children to have the same opportunities to express themselves and build confidence through creative programs.

Pretend City is more than just a museum—it’s a hub for nurturing creativity, community, and connection. It’s a place where kids like Joey and Jay can explore their imaginations while parents like Mark and I learn how to support their growth in meaningful ways.

We’re so grateful for the Pretend City team and everything you do to create these incredible experiences.
