I love the fact that Pretend City lets kids experience “the real world” like their moms and dads do in their everyday life. I think that aspect really resonated with me, as there are so many places you can take your kids, but there is nowhere like Pretend City. This led to us giving our first gift to Pretend City.
Pretend City lets children, of all ages, experience first-hand what it’s like to actually live day to day, outside their home. From banking, to shopping at Trader Joes, they get to “feel” what it’s like to be their parent in those aspects. Pretend City helps to challenge their minds and expose them to things that will really help them in life, while all along engaging them in what they think are “fun” activities.
I wish everyone knew that Pretend City existed! I was one of the lucky ones that brought my girls there many years ago, but so many know nothing about what a magical place it is. Pretend City has truly become even more magical over the years. So many activities and adventures for kids to truly enjoy!
I feel so blessed to be involved with such a “real world” organization that truly cares about the development of children.
