Our family donates to Pretend City because we love the museum and want to support the work the wonderful staff does and help provide ongoing activities for the children. We do so by donating to the Inspire! Giving Fund.
Pretend City is such a unique place where our kids can participate in unique play and educational activities. It provides the environment for children to be themselves and to learn, explore and discover things they may not have otherwise been exposed to.
We very much love the set-up of Pretend City including all the different kid-sized areas. The favorite areas are the farm and Trader Joe’s, where our oldest likes to use the broom to sweep around.
Pretend City provides wonderful educational opportunities. It opens the world to children exposing them to a variety of professions including the doctor and dentist offices, construction, stage, grocery store and rotating exhibits. It’s not just a place to play, but it’s also very educational for parents to understand their child’s development. Pretend City offers a variety of resources for parents.
Pretend City is the best kept secret in town – a wonderful place to explore, learn, discover and have fun. There is always something new to discover.
