Smart Art: All Day in the art studio your child will be able to create their own hat.
Sensational Story Time: Join us for a Dr. Seuss classic as we read The Cat in the Hat in the Orange Plaza at 11 am and The Hat by Jan Brett at 3:30 pm
Family Fitness Fun: We will finish out this fun day with a hat parade through our city streets.
Grown-up Tip: In Southern California we don’t have truly visible seasons. One way to teach your child about the seasons is allowing them to help you pick out their clothes for the day. You can ask questions like, “In what type of weather would you want to wear a hat?” and “What does a hat do for your head?” Engaging children in this type of questioning will help them to make the connection between the season and our choice of clothing.
RSVP: Not required
Fee: included with museum admission
